30-Inch Grills

The 30-inch is the workhorse size we recommend most often. It's the sweet spot between cooking capacity and footprint: roughly 450-500 square inches of primary cooking surface handles regular family dinners and small gatherings without the bulk of a 36" or larger. Every major builder we know defaults to 30-inch for standard outdoor kitchen islands. Gas models from Fire Magic, Summerset, and Blaze all perform well at this size.
